MTF is now issuing instantly verifiable certificates using blockchain technology and VeriDoc Global.
Malaysian Taekwondo Federation (MTF) is a national sports association, registered under Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sukan Malaysia (Malaysian Sports Commissioner’s Office) and affiliated to International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF). MTF has thousands of members across Malaysia and issues around 20,000 certificates in a year.
With thousands of members across the country, they were concerned that the association’s very reputation was at stake due to the manual processes that existed previously. The problem of issuing duplicate certificates to the students could lead to the loss of reputation & trust for the association, along with revenue. And for parents and students, they were unable to validate the authenticity of the certificates or the instructors.
They were looking for a tech solution to stop the duplication of certificates, enable certificate traceability that can be used by anyone, and make the certificate verification process transparent.
Multi-level verification increases the transparency during the certification process, including visual inspection and verifying the document details on blockchain instantly with any smartphone.
The certificates can be tracked and traced, and students and teachers have access to the information they need right away.
